Well, first off, I realize covid is an issue but this hotel took it to extremes. These are just standard rooms-nothing fancy, not even a microwave or refrigerator to bring food back since the restaurants have limited hours. But if you are going to charge this kind of rate of$165/night mid week, mid winter, then the service needs to be commensurate. We are fully aware of the staffing shortages being experienced everywhere, this being no different. Also there is no daily room cleaning unless you stay more than three days.
Let's face it the coffee machines in the hotel rooms don't make the tastiest coffee! There are several restaurant options but most are closed Mondays and Tuesdays and limited hours if open at all the rest of the week. You have the option of ordering through room service but they don't even have coffee at the desk for guests. In addition, there is no restaurant or deli open until 10 o'clock either. However the casino closes at midnight and does not open until 10 AM. The casino was not busy and every table or game we wanted was available when we wanted. We came up north to enjoy the fresh snow and spend a few midweek days at the casino.
